Lina is an Associate Professor of Organizational Psychology at BI Norwegian Business School, where she teaches and conducts research on evidence-based management, cross-cultural psychology, and organizing in extreme contexts. She has more than 15 years of experience in academic and applied research, with a focus on the Arab MENA region and the healthcare sector. She is passionate about bridging the gap between academia and practice, and using her knowledge and skills to serve society and create positive impact.As a Scholar-Activist, Lina collaborates with researchers and practitioners across disciplines and sectors, and produces various forms of scholarly outputs, such as publications, reports, podcasts, and workshops. She is the recipient of the 2020 Distinguished Scholar Award from the Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development, and her work on the aftermath of the Beirut blast was recognized by AACSB as an innovation that inspires. She also advocates for women's rights and economic empowerment, and promotes inclusion and diversity in her field and beyond.
