I'm a results-oriented, high-energy professional with a successful record of accomplishment in higher education advancement, marketing and public relations, and as a business owner. In the past, I have served as a senior institutional advancement officer at my alma mater managing an annual giving team with primary responsibilities focused on strategic planning of all annual giving functions. These days, I serve as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Miller-Keystone Blood Center. I feel so fortunate to be able to come to work every day and witness our community blood donors coming together with MKBC staff to achieve our mission of saving lives by partnering with our communities to provide a continuous supply of lifesaving blood products and services. My job is to connect individuals, companies and foundations that wish to make an impact on the work we do to the programs and projects that they feel most strongly about. Part of my career was spent in public relations and communications. During that time, I served as senior public relations officer at several private liberal arts institutions in the Northeast. Earlier, I provided public and media relations support for Blockbuster Video and Binney & Smith, now Crayola.
