As a professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and over three years of experience in education, I combine emotional intelligence, strong organizational skills, and a passion for supporting others. My career began in educational settings, where I helped create safe spaces for children aged 10 to 12 and led workshops for parents and teachers to better understand adolescent development.During my student internship and thesis work at a foundation in Brazil, I worked with vulnerable children and adolescents. My thesis explored the social representations these children had about their rights and received an honorable mention for its contribution to the field. In 2019, I took on a leadership role with the Cable Aéreo Manizales Association, where I directed the Social Management and Citizen Participation Plan in Cali’s 20th district. This experience sharpened my project management and leadership skills while working collaboratively with communities to address their needs. As a psychologist at the Philadelphia International School, I supported students by monitoring cases where their academic or interpersonal progress was affected. I collaborated closely with the family department, attending weekly meetings with other psychologists, family advisors, and the coordinator to discuss individual cases and provide feedback. Additionally, I taught Ethics to fifth and sixth graders, with a focus on developing social skills, assertive communication, conflict resolution, and fostering a sense of community.Driven by a desire for new challenges and personal growth, I relocated to Australia, where I gained experience in customer service as a front-of-house representative. This position helped me refine my skills in client relations, reservations management, and effective communication. Concurrently, I pursued a certificate in Individual Support, specializing in care for individuals with disabilities, which enhanced my adaptability, patience, and teamwork skills.Later, I transitioned to aged care, where I was responsible for the night-time well-being of 30 elderly residents. This role honed my ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure. Now, I am eager to bring my diverse skill set to a remote/virtual assistant role, utilizing my background in psychology, customer service, and care to provide efficient, empathetic, and reliable support. My experiences across education and healthcare, along with strong communication and organizational abilities, make me an ideal candidate for a remote team needing a dedicated and adaptable professional.
