Bioinformatician with industry and academic experience with both pipeline development and data modeling. I develop, test, and document sequencing pipelines for single-cell, whole exome, and whole transcriptome data. Genomic and transcriptomic datasets include model mammalian organisms, novel fungal species, and gut microbial communities. Past research interests include:- Identifying novel tumor-specific targets for cell therapy using deep learning- Investigating mechanisms of DNA repair damage in response to environmental carcinogens- Incorporating gene fusions as immunotherapy targets in cancer therapies
