Combined experience of 6 years working as a signwriter. Having previously worked at 1300SIGN11, I had the pleasure of working with one of the previous business owners who has reopened his company M.A.N Made Signs based on the Gold Coast. Servicing nationwide and as custom made sign manufacturers, there isn't much we can't do. Most of our work is completed inhouse with our own digital printer and CNC machine.At M.A.N Made Signs, we work as a team. I was an all-rounder, working in every aspects of the business from start to finish. The following are some of the roles I handled:- Project Estimations and everyday quotations- Construction plans- Stock ordering- Production Schedules- Artwork/Basic Graphic Design- Digital printing- All vinyl graphics- Use of programs such as Flexisign and Enroute to program the CNC- Programming and maintenance of CNC- Manufacturing of signs- Installations

Previously worked for Computer World as a junior in the office, reception & PA to the Director. After moving interstate and returning to Melbourne, I rejoined the team at Computer World as their Purchasing Manager and Warehouse/Freight Manager.I outsourced suppliers and negotiated pricing in order to give our customers the best possible price. I handled all stock received into our warehouse and took care of all of dispatch of all stock whether it be directly from our warehouse or dropshipped from our suppliers, I would oversee that everything ran smoothly and would follow up with the customer once their stock was received.

I started in administration and as a receptionist for 1300SIGN11 but quickly picked up a lot of knowledge from one of my bosses who I worked along side with and that progressed to learning how to estimate for jobs.I thoroughly enjoyed learning all aspects of the business and getting hands on with the projects, from the design process to manufacturing and through to installation. You need to know the process well in order to provide a quote for future jobs.It wasn't long before I was estimating for the projects on my own and also out in the warehouse helping out to finish jobs. It has become a career I wish to pursue and will be completing an apprenticeship in the future.
