With 20+ years’ experience in China commercial real estate covering consultancy, leasing, investment, asset and property management, I have often been considered as the expert in the real estate market. I was the industry’s first female MD for the region when i became Managing Director of Colliers International for the East China region in 2004,. I played a vital role in growing Colliers from a small 20-person team relying on overseas referrals to a hugely successful office. Under my leadership, our office won “Office of the Year’ for 3 consecutive years, and became one of the biggest real estate agencies in China. I also built the whole capital market and investment sales business as the China MD for this product line. Many investment transactions I personally concluded in the past became the industry benchmarks, including the en bloc sales of Platinum, which was the first-ever and largest transaction in Shanghai by a foreign institutional fund.
