With over 24 years of work experience in software engineering, cloud computing, AI and complex systems design, I am the Group Digital & Information Officer at UniCredit, a leading European bank. As a member of the Group Executive Committee, I am responsible for driving the digital transformation and innovation strategy of the bank, leveraging my expertise in AI, software development, data, and Cloud. I joined UniCredit in September 2023, after a successful tenure as a Partner at PwC, where I led the US Industry Cloud and Asset Based Solutions practice, and the US Cloud Engineering Capability. In these roles, I helped clients across various industries to adopt cloud-based solutions, optimize their business processes, and enhance their performance and resilience. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to create value for UniCredit and its customers, stakeholders, and employees, as well as contributing to the advancement of the financial sector and the society at large. I hold a Master of Science in Complex Systems Design from MIT, a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Econometrics from Purdue University. I also have an Associate's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
