The Loss Prevention Research Council is an active community of researchers, retailers, solution partners, manufacturers, law enforcement professionals, and others who believe research and collaboration will lead to a safer world for shoppers and businesses. As Co-Chair of the LPRC INNOVATE Advisory Panel, I have the privilege of leading collaboration among the most innovative of top industry thinkers and leaders in cutting-edge Loss Prevention and Safety technology. Working together as a team, we’re focused on mitigating retail loss through an academic approach to loss prevention technology. We work with retailers and solution providers to innovate on approaches to protect vulnerable people and places through technology and integration.

Northern Division

The District AP and Ops Manager is responsible for the execution of core AP and U.S. Retail StorePlaybook initiatives within their respective district. This includes sales, profitability, shrink,operations and safety. They are responsible for teaching, coaching, and training leadership andassociates in their district regarding the implementation of these initiatives without adding complexityto the stores operation. They must be able to handle multiple projects and gain the partnership ofDistrict Management, including the store Operations Assistant Manager, to achieve goals. They must alsoremain focused on managing and addressing all District specific business objectives, while supportingkey AP and Operational responsibilities.

Northern Connecticut

Support asset protection throughout a district of nine stores. Manage a team of Asset Protection Specialists. Increase profit, reduce loss. Investigate fraud. Develop partnership with law enforcement. Manage environmental risks and hazards. Develop a shrink elimination and safety culture. Teach, coach and train associates on Asset Protection initiatives. Responsible for district profit and loss statement leverage. Mitigate robbery potentials throughout the Northern CT district. Interview dishonest associates and obtain admissions of theft and fraud.

Greater Hartford

Investigate losses and fraud. Identify, detect, apprehend and process shoplifters in accordance with company guidelines. Drive a safety culture by teaching, coaching and training.

Develop young student-athletes. Manage a staff of approximately 5 assistant coaches.
