This comprehensive, intuitive web-based platform enables local governments in California to make data-driven decisions and expedite building code updates. The tool's effectiveness is demonstrated by a 55% increase in the adoption of reach codes by local jurisdictions in 2022 compared to 2019, the year it was launched.

My co-founding role at Manto, a Christian brand, marked my initial venture as an investor. This dynamic business journey offered me a holistic exposure to the retail and wholesale sectors, as well as hands-on experience in the clothing manufacturing process.Navigating this start-up, I gained valuable insights into managing a product-based business, in contrast to a service-based model. The financial management of the company, a responsibility that fell into my hands, taught me the intricacies of maintaining the financial health of a business in a different context.Despite confronting numerous obstacles, each one served as a stepping stone, refining our entrepreneurial skills and resilience. There came a time when I decided to sell my part in the company - a decision that underscored the evolving, and sometimes transient, nature of a business model.Even though Manto's journey concluded, it laid a solid foundation for my professional growth. It broadened my understanding of entrepreneurship, financial management, and the significance of adaptability within the ever-changing landscape of business.

Starting BIGO Design with my college friends was a leap of faith we took while pursuing our bachelor's degrees in Graphic Design. We were a group of passionate learners with a project in hand and an entrepreneurial spirit in our hearts. What began as a side project bloomed into a full-fledged business venture with a dynamic team of over 10 talented individuals combining expertise in design and technology.BIGO Design became my classroom, my laboratory, my arena - a place where I learned, experimented, and competed. I found myself exploring various facets of design and communication, tackling different types of projects that stretched my creativity and broadened my perspective. This variety of experiences became a cornerstone of my evolution as a creative professional.While design was a core aspect of our work, I found myself increasingly drawn toward technology. As my partners handled the design aspects, I dove into the tech side, teaching myself to code and eventually leading a team of developers on the website and web application projects.Beyond the technical skills, BIGO Design was also a lesson in entrepreneurship. I learned the art of making sales, the importance of collaborating with different visions (as we were three partners with our own unique perspectives), and the value of long-term strategic planning.
