My husband and are started a company and we paint interior and exterior residential and commercial properties here on Vancouver Island. He has been in the painting industry for over 30 years, and I joined him to help grow our company. We work independently and enjoy making people happy. I would however love to get back into the HR or PR world again.Life is to short. I have always believed that if you can't smile everyday at your choice of employment, then change it and succeed at what you are doing, but don't forget to smell the roses along the way.I am updating my profile in 2020, and want everyone who reads my profile to know that I want you to stay safe, and be kind to one another.

I managed a 36 room Motel, 65 cap. Pub. 3 Fishing Lodges/Marinas. 1 gas station, 1 fuel/ convenience store. I did everything from hiring /training to inventory and bookkeeping. I guess you could call me a Jill of all trades. I enjoyed my employment there but after 3.5 years, I had to stop. I worked 24/7, and burned out. I have never been afraid of hard work, but would love a chance to work in some of those areas again. I left that position in 2016. I am currently working with my husband as a contract painter in Nanaimo BC. I love Vancouver Island and would love the chance to get back into the PR world again. I enjoy interacting with the public. I miss it.
