With over 20 years of experience in the community services sector, I am a dedicated and passionate leader, youth worker, mental health, family & domestic violence and health & safety advocate.I hold a Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary) and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Youth Work, a Diploma in Leadership, as well as multiple certifications in work health & safety, suicide intervention, respectful relationships, and drumbeat facilitation.My core competencies include group and workshop facilitation, mental health advocacy, psycho education, offender diversion and reintegration, trauma informed and person centred practice. I am also a leader and an advocate for staff empowerment, safety, and wellbeing, as evidenced by my roles as Health and Safety Representative, WHS Committee Member, and Acting Coordinator Reconnect. I was honoured to receive the MercyCare Health Safety and Wellbeing Excellence Award in 2023 and to be nominated for the Minister for Youth's Most Outstanding Youth Worker Award in the same year. My mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and families by strengthening their relationships, stabilising their circumstances, and supporting their goals.
