Thirty-five years of experience in program management and development, policy analysis, research and community building and violence prevention. Successfully developed national program to prevent violence and promote peace. Member of working group for the development of several national initiatives, including Community Schools, Youth Gang Prevention Program, Early Head Start and Family Support and Preservation. Developed and implemented programs for students at the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago, including a mentor program for minority students, a career conference/jobs fair and a recruitment and outreach strategy to significantly increase enrollment of a more racially diverse student population.
