I have served the legal profession in Florida and Georgia for over 40 years with experience including litigation involving personal injury, legal malpractice, construction defect and insurance defense; corporate and tax, mergers and acquisitions; probate and estate planning; family law and employment law.I had a unique experience in 1997 at Holland & Knight when as secretary to William O. E. Henry (one of the first five lawyers of H&K) I presented some marketing ideas to my Managing Partner, Bill McBride. Those ideas were instrumental in creating the first firm-wide direct marketing program and a new role for me as Client Contact Coordinator developing our client contacts and integrating and maintaining them in a customized Elite database. I worked closely with our lawyers, staff and marketing department to identify key client contacts and keep them apprised of recent developments in laws affecting their companies and upcoming seminars and events hosted by our firm. It was an exciting and fulfilling position and I loved working with others in our firm to make the most out of every client relationship.
