Consulted on contract to provide organization development, workforce development and supervisory coaching services to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Design Physics Division four day per month. Projects included:* Coach managers and supervisors to develop their leadership capabilities* Analyze and conduct Human Synergistics 360 feedback and coach leaders on creating a development plan*Design, prepare and facilitate meetings as requested *Serve as a back-up to the internal organization development consultant.

Organization Development Consultant assigned to the National Ignition Fusion and Photon Sciences Directorate (NIF&PS) Provided consulting services to parts of Engineering and worked closely with Defense Technology Engineering Division. Projects included: *Consulted with the Inertial Confinement Fusion Program to help build the senior leadership team; shift the organizational culture; and gain alignment on direction to accomplish the Mission. Results included greater trust in the senior team; leaders modeling new behavior; improved organizational communication and more clarity of Program goals. *Planned, coordinated and facilitated year-long Leadership Development Program for NIF&PS. Partnered with other technical Directorates to increase networking across the Lab. Co-facilitated training sessions; met with each NIF&PS participants to review their 360 feedback and set goals; facilitated dialogue meetings with Associate Directorates. Outcomes included new synergistic relationships across the Lab and development of leaders for higher level positions.*Partnered with Lab OD colleague on a project for the High Energy Density Science functional organization in NIF. Interviewed a total of 94 Experimental Physicists as part of our data assessment. Developed a feedback report for senior leaders in two Directorates. Worked on a team to plan a meeting for 80 Experimentalists to identify actions steps to address the issues. Results included the increased awareness of senior leaders of the problems, the assignment of an experimentalist as co-leads on projects and mentoring for younger staff members.

Independent Organization Development Consultant - Projects Included:*Hewlett Packard - Consulted on a Customer Experience Transformation project to shift the business approach to focus on the total customer experience at every stage from product design through delivery and services. Served on the Organization Track team tasked with talent acquisition, culture change and workforce skills development. Created initial Communication Plan and collaborated with team on implementation.*County of Sacramento - Co-led, designed, and implemented an extensive training needs assessment for approximately 13,000 employees. Senior management interviews, supervisory and management focus groups, and an on-line workforce survey of employees were used to collect data on the project, resulting in a comprehensive report of findings and recommendations that were incorporated in a strategic planning process.*Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory - Executed a feedback process for more than two hundred employees to assess the supervisory skills of their leaders. Process resulted in a development plan for supervisors, improved working relationships and more open and effective communication between supervisors and direct reports.*Unity World-Wide Ministries - Consulted with a Unity church in Buffalo, New York on a Transformation Experience Pilot Program that was initiated by Unity Worldwide Ministries. The whole ministry transformational initiative was designed to create thriving ministries, enlightened leaders, and effective teams. This three-year, full community engagement facilitated a measurable shift in a ministry's capacity to fulfill its mission.
