Custom graphic design, digital illustration and marketing campaigns for print, web and video has been my focus for the last 15 + years. I have worked for a high profile newspaper, architecture firm, print shop / art studio and independently as a freelance graphic artist. Organizing artistic elements for page layout and package design is my specialty. Visual communication is a passion and I strive to convey meaningful messages on multiple platforms using my skills, experience and education. My goal is to grow as a graphic designer and digital artist while working towards becoming an author/illustrator. I wrote, illustrated and published my own children's book in 2009. I helped lead a campaign to organize student involvement in the TRIO program at Weber State University in 2008-2009. I served on the Multimedia Board at Weber State University in 2009-2010 to advise on curriculum and class creation in the field of digital media. I helped raise awareness of the Utah Hispanic-American Chamber of Commerce by creating marketing materials and websites, 2018-2019. I donated graphic design services to the South Jordan, UT Chamber of Commerce for a student math tutoring program. I placed third in state in the Utah FBLA-PBL graphic design competition, 2007 and was selected to compete nationally in the FBLA-PBL graphic design competition in Chicago, IL, 2007. I helped launch a successful marketing campaign for the KwikEdge brand garden tool and created digital designs, web assets, logos, flyers, brochures, trade show banners and displays, large-scale packaging and other marketing collateral.
