Getting injured has always been a daily occurrence in my life especially when you throw in all the sports that I played growing up. Due to the never ending cycle of getting injured I have been in physical therapy and occupational therapy which pushed me towards the path of wanting to become an occupational therapist. I also grew up in a family full of health care providers and emergency service workers, so wanting to help people as much as possible seems to be entwined in my DNA. I am currently a Kinesiology Bachelors student who is hoping to attend an occupational therapy school in a year. My interest in how the body functions and moves has allowed me to flourish in studying kinesiology and gain insightful knowledge of the body mechanisms. I have even been able to apply what I have learned in kinesiology to my own life with being physically active and with lifting weights. Being active with my dogs and lifting weights are aspects of my daily life that I never leave out of my schedule. I love to play with my dogs and take them on hikes and they are one of the most cherished parts of my life. My specialties include being a caring person, being motivated to be the best I can be and help all the people I can, being able to communicate well with everyone I meet, and being welcoming to every person no matter how unique they are. Feel free to reach out if you need a friend, someone to talk to, or if you need a future occupational therapist.
