Provided vision and supported collaborative environment for administrators, faculty, staff and students studying the sciences and applying the principles of business and design in careers in the human sciences. Advances the integration of research, teaching and public service to fulfill the land- grant university obligations to develop strong economies, safe and diverse communities, and heathy children and families. The College has 100 faculty, 400 employees, numerous volunteers supporting 1,950 undergraduates and 380 graduate students in 5 departments and institutes.

Worked with collaborative team of program directors, district directors, and department heads to provide leadership and fiscal oversight for Washington State University Extension. Responsible for 700+ employees and 14,000 volunteers based at over 50 locations statewide who worked to fulfill the obligations of the land-grant university to solve complex problems. I advanced the grant funded portfolio of WSU Extension to an all time high of $48 Mil in 2009-2010 and strengthened the partnerships with state agencies and the Washington State Association of Counties.

From 1998 to 2001, served as Director of the Margaret Ritchie School of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Idaho. Prior to that, served as Professor and Extension Family Economics Specialist, and prior to that was an Extension Educator in Boundary County, Idaho.
