As Program Assistant, I supported NDI's civic education programs and 15-person field office in Haiti. As Program Officer, I coordinated a long-term election observation mission for the 2000 and 2001 presidential elections in Peru, including opening the NDI/Carter Center field office in Lima. I was subsequently promoted to Senior Program Officer leading NDI's democracy programs in Peru, Mexico and Ecuador.
