Transformed a small food bank of 600 monthly client families into a regional resource center providing a variety of services to more than 1,900 families each month. Increased community support through awareness campaigns and agency partnerships resulting in financial growth and a volunteer wait list.• Developed and implemented annual comprehensive strategic plans for the growth of the Marana Resource Center resulting in increased program offerings, numbers of families served, volunteer capacity, and donations.• Created and executed a volunteer program which included on-going recruitment; monthly orientation sessions; regular communication; orientation and training manuals; and an annual volunteer appreciation event resulting in a four-year increase from 20 to 120 trained volunteers.• Raised food donations to 1.7 million pounds of food annually by soliciting donations from retail and private donors.• Increased financial donations to both the Marana Resource Center and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona by promoting the work of the resource center through frequent and on-going community outreach and public speaking opportunities.• Inspired a multi-disciplinary partnership between the Town of Marana, Marana Unified School District, MHC Healthcare, and the Marana Resource Center to collaboratively offer information, education, and resources to the Marana community. • Designed and hosted an annual networking event bringing together 40 to 60 non-profits and agencies to explore opportunities for collaborative work resulting in tangible projects.• Achieved a score of 93% or higher on industry and food safety bi-annual audits.• Developed financial budget of up to $2 million annually exercising management control over expenditures.• Co-led a 9-member focus group who became food bank ambassadors to raise awareness of the resource center, support fundraising, and build relationships.• Mentored and supervised staff of 5 employees and more than 120 volunteers.
