About Linda Hall

I am a seasoned corporate board director, having served on more than 20 corporate boards , for public (NASDAQ and NYSE), privately held and start up companies. I also provide strategic growth advisory services for C-level leaders of emerging businesses helping them to achieve sustainable growth. A creative listener with deep business insights, I bring a clear and unbiased perspective to understanding the unique challenges and goals companies have. My skillset includes a proven ability to identify opportunities and to develop results-oriented strategies for operational success. Companies I have led or advised have realized hundreds of millions of dollars of increased value.I have always sought interesting career opportunities. As a result, my professional path has helped me to gain extensive experience in a wide range of business sectors. I have launched over 45 start-ups as an executive, director, or consultant, including 2 inside $1 billion+ companies. I have expertise in strategic planning, breakthrough innovation, successful exits, venture capital financing, distribution strategies, forming alliances, integration of acquisitions, and development of high-performance teams.As an award-winning board member with 27+ years’ experience, I have served on 5 public, 11 privately held for-profit, and 8 not-for-profit boards. I currently serve on 1 public, 1 family held private, 1 family held start up and 2 not-for-profit company boards. I am a lecturer and consultant on navigating stages of growth post-launch to maturity, formation of advisory boards, disruptive innovation, and career development. From 2008–2014, I taught MBA and undergraduates at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in the Department of Entrepreneurship. I designed the curriculum, Stages of Growth Post-Launch to Maturity. A volunteer mentor for the annual MN Cup, a program of the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship at the Carlson School of Management, I have mentored 28 semi-finalist companies in the state-wide business plan competition. I received the 2019 MN Cup Mentor of the Year Award. Additionally, I am a volunteer mentor for Springboard Enterprises for women-led global startups, and a Founding Member of the Minnesota Chapter of Women Corporate Directors.
