During Covid, due to staffing shortages, I was given the opportunity to work in the hospital setting again . All aspects of Veterinary Nursing . Medicine/surgery/client education , liaison with multiple specialists/emergency practices. previously employed here from 1997-2004

Helped open hospital from ground zero. Performed all nursing duties, assisted practice owner with allaspects of running the hospital. Promoted hospital to gain and maintain clientele. Heavy focus on client /patient relationship. Inventory management, compliance records. Liaison with specialty / emergency facilities and doctors .

Lead Technician and Assistant to Dr. Lee Garrod DVM, Diplomate ACVECC - Cardiothoracic Medicine. Performed all nursing duties including medical/ surgical , and client education/ retention. In addition, traveled with Dr . Garrod to local hospitals performing endoscopy and ultrasonography procedures. Helped to promote hospital as it was newly acquired by Dr. Garrod. Instituted Halloween pet parade, which is still happening to this day.
