Faculty Of Education Health And Wellbeing

Dean of a multidisciplinary Institutes in the Faculty included : Educational, Health Professions, Sport, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work and Care. Each Institute delivered relevant research and undergraduate and postgraduate education. Under Linda's leadership the Faculty grew and diversified to over 8,000 students and a team of 480 multidisciplinary staff. The Faculty consistently achieved recruitment and income generations targets and consistently the highest possible quality ratings from external agencies, commissioners, professional and statutory bodies . In addition, Linda has led a number of successful projects involving multiple partners. These include a three year education project; leading the development of an innovative Health focused University Technical College (UTC). Health Futures UTC, opened in September 2015, within budget, on time and on recruitment target. Linda continues contributed to HF UTC as a Governor. During the latter two years as Dean, Linda, led on behalf of the University, a new development in postgraduate medical education. This was built in collaboration with a number of partners involving local NHS Trusts as well as other faculties across the university.
