A serial social entrepreneur, featured in 'Forbes 50 over 50 Impact List', Linda is recognized for her ability to simplify complexity through strategy, apply business best-practice to address development challenges and lead influencers from private and public sector, in a behavior-based solution for the 5th Sustainable Development Goal; Achieve gender equity and empower all women and girls. She has the vision, curiosity, disruptive innovation skills, financial acumen, and window-of-opportunity timing of a founder. She is driven by the impact of good economics and ESG (Environment Social Governance) on a more equitable / inclusive society. She sees the world through the lens of those who want to be part of the solution. Transitioning from customer experience consulting in EMEA, to the world of social entrepreneurship, she leveraged commercial skills to mobilize ‘partnerships for impact’ and $20M for the economic empowerment of at-risk adolescent girls in Africa and India. Her experience working with financial organizations, in the areas of corporate culture and behavior change, and her innovative models for employee volunteerism engagement, makes her uniquely qualified to understand how good economics, a good employee experience and a good customer experience supports a talent development strategy for how we work and how we lead post COVID-19. In 2006 she advanced a point of view which earned her thought leader status. With no prior experience in the development sector, she singlehandedly designed, funded, and piloted a program in Kenya to prove the hypothesis that at-risk adolescent girls can be economically empowered by shifting the behavior of marginalized to empowered. She convened resources from USAID and 21 private sector organizations to make Global Give Back Circle Kenya’s largest gender-based, mentorship, education, and employment readiness program - expanded to East Africa and Ghana currently reaching 6,000 beneficiaries and 3,000 mentors.
