Assist Executive Director in administering / implementing tribal projects that are focused on cultural / language preservation projects. Work directly with tribal grantees to support their grant writing and program planning activities for the Cultural Resource Fund. Work collaboratively with public / private sectors to help garner support for programmatic projects that support tribal and Native American communities. Duties include grant writing, report writing and fund development. My telecommuting position allows extensive phone, IM, and email, options, including rock-solid performance management practices and long-distance travel to provide excellent on-site training and technical assistance activities throughout the United States.

Provide training, technical assistance and consulting services in the areas of business management, communications, program planning for children’s services; fundraising grant writing; prepare evaluation and health assessments for Tribes and Native American organizations. Tribal Liaison for cultural and language preservation for federally recognized tribes. Advocate for the protection and legal rights for Native American children. Provide training in: Fundraising, strategic planning, grant writing, program planning and team management, child advocacy, Native American foster care and adoption.

Provide training and technical assistance to tribes and Native American organizations that are implementing evidence-based home visiting programs.

Manage national organization that serves tribal communities providing child victimization services. Organize nationally focused training in the areas of child advocacy centers, culturally responsive trauma treatment & services and multidisciplinary teams. Assist Board with strategic planning, fund development and program evaluation. Engage in survey design and implementation to assess Child Advocacy/MDT development in Indian Country. Design and implement training programs in the areas of multidisciplinary team development and developing Native child advocacy centers for reservation-based and urban Indian communities. Assist Board with the development of training materials. Develop cross-sector collaborations with national & international organizations for Indigenous child welfare issues. Other duties include preparation of federal and foundation reports, internal reports, website updates, grant writing, financial management, coordination of trainers and consultants for on-going technical assistance projects to tribal communities.

A member of the Senior Management Team, assisted with developing, implementing and overseeing all administrative operations of two million dollar budget for inpatient and out-patient substance abuse treatment facilities. Responsible for creating and implementing fundraising plan, including all grant writing and grants management. Staffed Board of Trustees and its committees. Maintained all governing authority records and procedures. Created programmatic budgets. Developed public relations / media plans and activities. Prepared reports to funding agencies. Liaison between area agencies, including foundations, local, state and county funders. Responsible for designing and implementing new drug treatment services, including best practice gender-specific trauma services, adult drug court program, therapeutic gardening,etc. Implemented outcome management measurements to evaluate program services. Participated in new construction planning committee to oversee designing and building of new facility to house administrative offices and men’s in-patient residential program.
