During my teaching career, I have maintained a strong commitment to improving the educational outcomes of all students. I have accomplished this by supporting classroom teachers to ensure that all students have access to and participate in a relevant and challenging curriculum. I have emphasised the importance of developing authentic assessments, differentiating the curriculum to increase student engagement and integrating technology into all Key Learning Areas. I have also assisted teachers to modify the classroom environment and develop effective classroom management skills in order to support students to reach their full academic potential.I believe that early identification of student learning needs is crucial. In order to develop the whole student it is vital that we focus on what students are able to do rather than on what they cannot do.
