I am certified coder with over 17 years in the medical industry. I have worked in a single physician practice with an in house infusion clinic, a home health company, and a multi physician multi specialty practice, and an Oncology practice with a full Chemotherapy clinic. I have worked many aspects including making appointments, answering phones, registering patients, E&M billing, coding surgeries, accounts receivable follow up, appeals, RAC audits, posting payments, reconciling end of day and end of month records, physician education on changes in policies and criteria, and physician and coworker education of ICD-10 and changes in the ACA.
