Recruited and hired to represent an ambulatory surgery services development and management company with Sutter Health System in Northern California. Worked with Sutter Health on development, acquisition, and multi-site management initiatives, including an aggressive outpatient development plan. Served as a primary Client Relationship Manager and Consultant to hospital C-level executives on ambulatory care initiatives, feasibility studies, physician partnerships, and surgery center acquisitions. Engaged in complex negotiations of terms and pricing for acquisitions of surgery centers; negotiated contracts with state-funded and PHO healthcare plans.HIGHLIGHTS:★ Directed 5 Development projects concurrently while serving as a Regional Manager, overseeing direct-report Administrators of developed/licensed ASCs. Built strong and sustainable relationships with CEOs of 5 hospitals and 3 medical groups as the key Relationship Manager.★ Drove 180-degree turnaround for ASC after 1 year in operation, including replacement of existing Administrator. Initially brought on board to lead Ambulatory Accreditation programs and expand the customer base. Subsequently named as the Executive Director of Laboratories (after 1st month on the job), a mature program requiring representation at conferences and government meetings. Chaired Professional Technical Committees comprised of CEOs and Executive Directors from large national companies (e.g. AARP, Cleveland Clinic, and John Deere among others).Reported to the SVP of Government Affairs and provided reporting to the Board of Directors.
