Linda holds a part-time role as Events Director for US-based non-profit professional association, ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineers). Engaged by the Singapore affiliate, she is responsible for its programme strategy and membership growth through its events, including its annual conference and exhibition. She successfully launched a pilot 2 day conference in conjunction with the US HQ, for 150 attendees in 2017. She collaborates with regional affiliates and regulatory bodies to develop and execute events.A professional events organiser for over 26 years, working with associations, corporations and authorities; Linda has conceived, produced and managed trade events including exhibitions, conferences, training programmes and seminars in Asia Pacific and North Asia. Largely based in Singapore, she has worked as Sales, Conference, Project and General Manager for the leading business to business conference companies, Terrapinn, IQPC / WBR and IBC Asia. In Shanghai for 5 years, she set up and ran the China businesses for both IQPC and IBC.As General Manager, Life Sciences at IBC for 6 years, Linda established events ranging from pharma R&D and biosimilars to clinical development and bio manufacturing. Later, she established its Managed Events business, with a focus on developing and managing large scale and tailored events for associations and corporate clients.Linda is from the UK, holds a BSc in Management Sciences from UMIST (University of Manchester) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She has lived in Singapore for most of her career and loves to travel.
