• Manage and execute the MRP workbench; releasing planned orders
• Analysis and reporting of material availability by project including identifying last part in house dates, material liabilities and risk
• Communication of material issues both internally and externally
• Work closely with manufacturing in inventory control systems, Kanban, Min/Max MOQ, processes and procedures
• Interface with customer on parts shortages or delays

• Expedite, track of all purchase orders ensuring on time delivery, quality and effective cost for all materials meeting manufacture needs
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors
• Highlight issues impeding delivery and make contingency plans with operation team where necessary
• Review forecast with Production Planners to identify any changes affecting delivery performance
• Works with warehouse, quality control staff and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve problems with defective or damaged parts.
• Works with Accounts Payable to resolve problems with incorrect supplier billing

• Generate, release and maintain purchase orders based on customer forecast
• Utilize the MRP system for any demand changes
• Global sourcing of new vendors and manage vendors to ensure high quality and best value
• Involve in price negotiations to ensure that all parts are brought in at the most cost effective prices
• Provide a timely resolution of receiving discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory level
• Ensure all orders are closed out accurately and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies with suppliers and the accounting team
