I am a seasoned Belgian freelance journalist with a decade of experience writing about a broad range of issues for U.S. and UK news outlets. I focused on business, social justice and the media industry early on in my career, but today mostly write about EU policy, tech regulation and the legal industry. I also have a keen interest in stories about lobbying and strategic litigation. I’ve written for leading business titles like Bloomberg Tax and Law.com International, for policy-focused publications like The Parliament and International Politics & Society, as well as for more generalist outlets like The New European, Deutsche Welle, EUObserver and USA Today. In 2023, I conducted two deeply reported, exclusive investigations into racism in Belgium's legal industry and elite law firms' covert lobbying of the EU institutions. I’m a graduate of Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism and a former B.A.E.F. Hoover Foundation Brussels Fellow. In 2024, I spent three months at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as a Stigler Center Journalist in Residence.
