As a Manufacturing Engineer, II, I am managing the Advanced Research and Technology projects from prototype to full-scale production while implementing Lean Body of Knowledge to optimize processes before being launched into production. I lead Risk Mitigation efforts for new manufacturing processes before being launched into full production, including PFMEA + DFMEA identifying all potential failure modes. I am responsible for creating Process Flow Diagrams and Value Stream Maps for new and current manufacturing lines. When problems arise, I am leading Root Cause Analysis efforts to determine the factors leading to failures.

As a Module Manager in McMinnville, I was responsible for managing 100+ direct reports across four polymer seals manufacturing cells. I used my previous TPM/Lean experience to improve processes while managing the operations teams. I enforced a lean mindset to reduce manufacturing line arrears from 12,000+ piece parts to 5,000 between Q3 and Q4 of 2019. The entirety of my time in McMinnville was working alongside our customers' recovery teams to align and prioritize manufacturing improvement projects through a site recovery.

During my time as a Process Engineer in McMinnville, I was responsible for leading 3P (Production, Preparation, Process) events for the site alongside our customers' recovery teams in order to find ways to optimize the manufacturing lines in the building. I led a site-wide Value Stream Mapping event, and worked with the customers' and site leadership to develop the year's goals to meet the recovery deadlines laid out from the customers.

While working for the PMO in Bournemouth, I created a Planning and Scheduling Best Practice guide published for the entire Program Management department to reference when creating program and project schedules and management plans. I developed and maintained PMO functional website and SharePoint site for team members to find best practice guides, templates and examples. Was responsible for organizing and planning multiple Program and Project Management training courses across the US and UK, and I co-led the development of new Program Management Performance reporting system utilizing the visual capabilities of Power BI and data capturing technology of SharePoint.

Working as a manufacturing engineering intern, I was given the opportunity to work on three major projects during my few months in Billerica.I developed a step-by-step Preventative Maintenance Plan for a tilt-cart holding a 330-lb, million dollar product for technicians to follow. By the technicians following this document, it helped reduce downtime due to broken or damaged parts, prevent bodily injury to a technician while they were functioning car and prevent loss of profit for broken carts or damaged products.I fabricated a mixed-gas calibration stand for New Product Introduction testing that will double production of the new product, learning how to use an orbital welder to fasten different pipe lengths to one another. Designed a fixture that improved productivity and capacity by 200% and fixed inconsistencies of an original design. This fixture helped the site secure a multi-million dollar contract.

Assisted Professor Chao Wang teach a 40 student, freshmen lab for mechanics. Answered questions students had, gave demonstrations of lab materials and activities before each class. Worked with hand tools to help build solar-powered vehicles.

Assisted Professor Krause build tutorials for future engineering students’ interactions during class. His research primarily focused on Active Learning and developing this at Arizona State University. This project is being funded by the National Science Foundation and will be utilized by University of Oregon staff as well as Arizona State University staff.
