Working in development and planning since 1989, Linda Champanier’s career included 15 years in the State University of New York (SUNY). She was director of development at Purchase College from 1997 to 2005, and then led a capital campaign at Westchester Community College that netted $20 million–far exceeding the $14.5 million campaign goal. In 2012, Linda Champanier established LHC Creative Strategies for Development, LLC, which offers strategic planning, development, and evaluation services. LHC helps organizations to identify, analyze and tackle their challenges. Using a collaborative planning process that highlights organizations’ assets, resources, and distinctive strengths, LHC positions them to take advantage of their competitive advantages.She has written successfully funded proposals to sources that include The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the U.S. Department of Education, the J.M. Kaplan Fund, Verizon, the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Kathryn W.
