Linda Czipo is President & CEO of the New Jersey Center for Nonprofits, New Jersey's statewide network for the charitable nonprofit community, and is the Center's primary spokesperson to the media, government and business leaders, the nonprofit community and the public. Her nonprofit experience spans over 30 years.Linda is responsible for the Center’s overall administration, board support, planning, financial oversight, legal/regulatory compliance, and fund development. She formulates and directs the Center’s advocacy work and has spearheaded numerous successful public policy initiatives in support of the non-profit community. An experienced researcher and analyst, she has conducted various projects to document the sector's size, scope, economic and social contributions, and emerging non-profit issues/trends.A sought-after speaker, moderator and trainer on topics of importance to nonprofit organizations, she speaks frequently to the media, nonprofit, philanthropic and business leaders, and government officials regarding the size, strength, economic and social contributions of New Jersey’s nonprofit sector and current and emerging trends facing the nonprofit community; and has successfully mobilized broad-based coalitions of nonprofits around numerous advocacy issues. For the past three years (2021-23), she has been named as one of ROI-NJ’s Power Influencers and Women in Business Influencers. She was recognized in 2023 by the YWCA Northern New Jersey as a "Woman of Action" at its Walking the Talk celebration and by South Jersey Magazine as Woman of the Year in its 2023 Super Women issue; in 2016 by Lead New Jersey as one of its 30 Leaders for 30 Years; as a Nonprofit Organization Advocate of the Year by the Nonprofit Development Center of Southern NJ; and by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies (NJAMHAA) for Leadership in Nonprofit Regulatory and Legal Issues. She was listed by NJBIZ as one of the "state's most powerful women, according to the state's most powerful women," and was named to the 2016 “Power 50” by South Jersey Biz. She was named one of the 2014 Top 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ. Linda a public policy committee member and former board treasurer of the National Council of Nonprofits, and also serves on the New Jersey Commission on National and Community Service, and the Policy Committee of the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers.
