CurrentI have worked on a wide variety of projects for different clients, often as a technical team lead. Highlights include:- Led a combined team of software and quality engineers implementing features for a large application with highly complex business requirements. Architecture included two Typescript/React frontend applications and hundreds of AWS microservices, with extensive test automation leveraging Jest and Cypress.- Developed an event-driven architecture for processing transactions, with AWS Lambdas written in Kotlin and leveraging other AWS services including Kinesis, DynamoDB and EventBridge. - Designed and developed a dashboard application for showing the current state of the client's cloud environment, using VueJS for the frontend and AWS serverless technologies for the backend.- Engineered and enhanced an AWS-hosted Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environment, including development of custom Terraform modules and Python scripts. Provided training and support to engineers from other teams as they became familiar with how to use the environment.- Implemented a cross-platform mobile experience across web, iOS and Android by leveraging React and React Native in a custom shared code environment.
