Hi there, thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I have worked in a customer focused back ground for most of my working career and thrive on working in a busy environment and the challenges it brings; I am a conscientious, experienced, approachable person with a track record of accurately inputting and manipulating data to a very high standard. I have helped/ trained new starters how to use operating systems such as OHMS/Northgate/Open Accounts and I am always available to help when they have difficulty finding their way around the system. I am often asked for advice when colleagues have difficulty using Outlook, Word or Excel. I am always happy to coach and advise where they maybe going wrong. In the last 4 years I have gone from Administrative Assistant to a Housing Officer role which I enjoy thoroughly. I love the interaction with the residents and will go out of my way to make sure anyone who needs help is signposted to the right agency to get the help they need. I find the role as Housing Officer challenging but then I thrive on a good challenge which makes my day more interesting. I'm a confident person with a high standard of communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and develop long-term sustainable partnerships. I often contact outside agencies for source resources or gain information about repairs to equipment's in our Sheltered Schemes. I am always looking to improve myself and my service delivery and will ask to go on any training required to archive this to give customer satisfaction and job satisfaction. I am committed to promoting Equality and Diversity making sure that all persons are treated equally but as an individual according to their creed, culture, disability religion etc. I am also committed to customer involvement in service delivery as this helps me and the customers to understand and work together. I am able to learn new roles quickly and efficiently, I work well under pressure and adapt quickly in an ever changing environment and employ a positive ‘can do’ approach to all tasks.I enjoy helping and doing things for charity, I completed a Sky dive in 2017 and a wing walk June 2018, which I found it very exhilarating to do.
