Head of technical policy and Chief Technology Officer Council secretariat team and engagement lead for open standards, data standards, information strategy, reuse and reference architecture work streams of the UK Government IT Strategy.

Policy lead on metadata, I revised and advised on the UK Government's 2006 e-Government Metadata Standard, whilst running the secretariat for the information management domain of the Government's Chief Technology Officer Council.
