I've always had a passion for technology. No matter where life's twists and turns took me, it somehow always steered me back onto the tech path. It all began after I earned my first certification in Multimedia Graphic Design from Fresno's Institute of Technology. I had a great gig as a graphic designer for a while, but then, as life often does, it threw me a curveball – a major out-of-state move that sent my career on an entirely different journey.I ended up spending seven years in the field of manufacturing. But that tech itch never truly left me. So, I decided to chase it. Armed with determination, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Web Design and Development from Full Sail University. But let me tell you, the tech comeback wasn't a walk in the park. It was a challenge, and I had my fair share of bumps in the road.So, I found myself back in the manufacturing world for another six years. And then, cue the pandemic, which made all of us reassess our work and life balance. That's when I made a choice—put my career on hold to be there for my children during their virtual school adventure.But you know what they say, every cloud has a silver lining. While at home, I realized it was the perfect time to dust off my coding skills. I embarked on a learning journey, starting with a course on Udemy: 'The Complete 2021 Web Development Bootcamp' by the amazing Dr. Angela Yu. That ignited my passion for coding even more.The plot thickened when I stumbled upon a local React course. It was like destiny had finally aligned. Taking that course led to an unexpected turn—a role as an Application Developer Apprentice.So, here I am, fueled by passion, learning, and a thirst for tech adventures, ready to bring my skills and enthusiasm to the next exciting challenge.
