One way I support Landscape Research is by chairing the Washington ASLA Annual Conference. I manage the work flow of an 8-12 member volunteer planning committee made up of design professionals, principals, students and emerging professionals. I set the event budget, coordinate contracts with vendors and service providers, assist the Executive Committee with sponsor and exhibitor relations, and work to deliver a quality experience for attendees, volunteers and speakers.
