Serve in a new role for the Financial Aid and Services unit of Ashford University:Develop, promote and implement a strategic action plan to improve communication, training and user friendly online resources for students in response to Great Place to Work survey results. Plan resulted in double digit increases in employee satisfaction for Quarters 1 and 2 for 2017.Assess staff training needs and develop plan in collaboration with Learning and Development. Plan led to increased Net Promoter Scores and financial aid no longer being the lead detractor for students recommending the university to family and friends.Examine strategic partnership operations and recommend improvements in how financial services are delivered students being sponsored by their employers. Build, monitor and revise performance metrics for financial aid and services aligned with organizational goals and objectives.Monitor student accounts receivable for timely aid disbursement and payment of tuition and fees; resolve any issues and work closely with students on payment plans. Represent Financial Aid and Services on university-wide committees.
