As a Teen Literacy Coach, I collaborated with other neighborhood libraries to complete a scrapbook of all the work South Philadelphia libraries have done during the course of the summer and a project tackling the issues of stereotyping and racism. The project consisted of a skit outlining the consequences of stereotyping along with a website I designed with the intention of encouraging interracial relationships in Philadelphia.

The Whitman Branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia allowed me to put my creativity to use through designing education programs for the youth and creating displays for events like Women's History Month and Poetry Month. I also provided homework help through the Literacy Enrichment After-school Program to K-12.
