I've joined art director Jerom Fischer in his pursuit to make the world more beautiful to look at, one show at a time. GAIIA Studio is an art-direction studio that creates visual worlds for artists and shows. My responsibilities include HR, researching new business and marketing opportunities, being a soundboard for the team, and ensuring the studio evolves in line with its vision.

Responsible for managing and supporting our Roster of Directors and Photographers to make their best work possible—whether it's for brands, publications, or self-initiated projects. Besides creating an inspiring environment for everyone to flourish in and scouting new Talent, I also supervised our Marketing, Comms & PR efforts and a team of 3 direct reports.

After two years of building partnerships and memorable events for WeTransfer as a whole, I moved into a role dedicated to Art projects and our creative community with WePresent, WeTransfer's digital art platform. My focus lies on conceptualizing experiences such as Marina Abramovic: Traces exhibition, an event series around the relaunch of the site and a new magazine, and giving birth to a new event series discussing the not-so-sexy questions that are oh-so-important to your creative business success, called Stuff They Don't Tell You.

The question on my mind is: How do we want to show up as a brand, where and with whom? I'm responsible for owned event initiatives & event-related partnerships. Combining my experience with design research and creative thinking for inspiring brand moments & experiences. The past year has enabled me to build human connections with amazing partners on a pursuit to make the world a better place through creativity. These include but are not limited to LIONS, The Design Conference, IDFA and WWFM. As of 2021, I'm the creative producer for Influence, a podcast by WeTransfer about the hidden gems, hotspots, and dark alleys in the world of communication. Besides these responsibilities I'm spokesperson for the internal taskforce for Mental Health & Wellbeing.

Worked on events, conferences & festivals alike to create a thought-provoking line-up, cohesive program, code of conduct, liaison with speakers, consult on speaker & artist care. Clients include Design Indaba, Techleap, SYLVAIN, AboutYou Fashion Week, AboutYou Pangea Festival & Result Recruitment Group.

Normaal Gesproken is a podcast and community that aims to break the stigma around mental health and promotes having real conversations with yourself and your loved ones.

Responsible for programming speakers, workshops, and roundtable sessions for TNW Conference in Amsterdam (13.000 attendees) and TNW New York (1000 attendees). This includes curating the speaker lineup and themes, overseeing outreach and content production, attendee research and ongoing tech research, managing the T500 talent program, and production of side events like the opening- and closing party. A few proud moments: - Successfully spearheading the first & second edition of the Music Summit in collaboration with Massive Music (2017), Talpa Music (2018), and Spinnin' Records (2017, 2018).- Strengthening the relationship and collaboration between the Partnership and Program teams. - Initiating and implementing a design research methodology to our attendee research. - Receiving the trust to work remotely from Cape Town for 4 months. Speakers have included Chase Jarvis (Creative Live), Piera Gelardi (Refinery29), Jason Silva (Singularity University, Brain Games), Nalden (WeTransfer), Rich Pierson (Co-founder & CEO Headspace), Alexis Ohanian & Steve Huffman (co-founders Reddit), Anjali Sud (CEO Vimeo) and many more.
