• Effectively support the strategic goals of the Risk Management Underwriting Unit, underwriting employed providers for the Physician Professional Liability Self-Insurance Program.
• Deliver accurate and timely research of experience and exposure data, ensuring the smooth flow of underwriting information to multiple customers simultaneously.
• Solicit appropriate proof of insurance in accordance with contractual agreements and provide appropriate certificates upon request.
• Accurately identify the appropriate documentation to solicit regional contracts, physicians, insurance carriers, agents and other entities, both private and public.
• Verify documentation for adequacy and evaluate practitioner insurability within the company's established underwriting guidelines.
• Provide ongoing support to Risk Management Specialists for producing STARS claims history verifications, as well as reporting claims to Third Party Administrators.
