Reading engineering drawings, constructing measurement plans and also report writing to internal and external customers are some of the tasks carried out on a daily basis.I also work in the quality department in which I oversee everyday production activities, making sure that the quality of our products is maintained throughout production. WCM Europe is ISO/TS16949 & ISO 9001 credited, I implement these standards during the Development, manufacture and assembly of components.In addition to the above I am the Product Safety Representative for WCM Europe credited by the Volkswagen Group. This role involves implementing quality systems into production; ensuring production staff understand the importance of health and safety, legal implications and how they have a duty to ensure health and safety is met for each and every part produced.
