Promoted to Product Manager of the new PAM client reporting product: Reportal. Sales department had found it increasingly difficult to close the deal because of the perceived antiquated reports coming out of PAM. Designed system functionalities to meet business requirements for clients licensed to use the PAM product for portfolio management, regulatory reporting, multiple-basis financial accounting, profit-loss analysis, cash management, performance analysis and straight-thru processing. In addition to understanding the business requirements and PAM’s Visual-C++ based systems architecture thoroughly, was also responsible for leading developers and testers to meet project deadlines. • Implemented Cognos8 Framework and Report design for PAM client reporting.• Designed sort, search and filter features of the new Panorama product.• Developed a database dedicated to regulatory requirement projects to reduce project testing time and reduce post-implementation regression bugs.• Completed Credit-impairment analysis of book value, book yield and cash flow changes to credit sensitive amortizing securities that will require impairment adjustment based on the EITF99-20 pronouncement.• Enhanced the existing pay down functionality to allow for partial cash principal recovery due to credit events of CMO, MBS and ABS issues.• Implemented NAIC regulatory requirement changes for statutory basis reporting such as Asset Valuation reports, Capital Risk reports, and Schedule D, DA, and E reports.• Executed a client-funded request to enhance floating rate calculation for adjustable fixed income securities.

Business Analyst - Fixed Income Division Managed business analysis, client support and project development for systems used by Derivatives Swaps.● Enhanced IT department’s effectiveness by developing a partner-relationship with all business units supporting the Swaps Derivatives business.● Designed and implemented a web-based workflow & client-confirm system. Reduced operational risks to the firm, and expanded capability for the firm to handle increased volume by converting the operation from a manual-driven process to an electronic process.● Protected the Fixed Income Division from critical data loss by negotiating an inexpensive outsourced solution to provide support for a documentation system. Liased with Legal and Finance department to secure deal.● Managed offsite consultants to upgrade a Unix-based documents repository system used by over 300 global users in the controllers, operations, legal, and sales-trader departments. Completed project within deadline.● Convinced several Managing Directors to upgrade an unsupported documentation system by completing a thorough cost-risk analysis document. Effort also included negotiations with 2 external consulting firms, which reduced the final cost from original estimates by $300,000.● Analyzed and documented proposal to decommission the profit & loss systems and migrate it to the firm-wide reporting system. Collaborated with other IT teams to agree on a joint-project timeline schedule. As a result, month-end reporting effort was reduced from 3 weeks to 5 days. ● Analyzed and documented accounting methods to facilitate complex journal entries. Managed an off-site consultant to implement the methods into the profit-and-loss system.

Lead Developer / Business Analyst - Equity DivisionManaged IT support and development for systems used by the US and International Programs Desk.● Nurtured a partner-relationship with New York, London, and Tokyo sales-traders to help customize external clients’ reporting requirements in order to win sales bids.● Created a “direct dealer input” system that processed a daily average of 10,000 trades from various front-end trading systems into back office systems such as client confirms; profit & loss reporting; books & records keeping; and client order-management. ● Developed multiple enhancement projects for two highly complex order-management systems to keep track of client orders and used MQ to interface with C++ trading systems; VB client confirms systems, and other mainframe trade-clearing systems.
