Innovator, digital transformer, life-and health insurance expert, fintech enthusiast, podcast creatorI strongly believe that the insurance sector should and could work differently than it does today. My goal is to innovate solutions that could lead to seamless customer experience by understanding what our customers want in this digital era. Technology is on our side and if we use it wisely we can serve our customers to experience something unique, unexpected and even cool from our sector and our shareholders to own a company that is smart, that gives superb customer experience and that works quite effectively by taking advantage of digital technology.I have over 10 years’ experience in creating life and health insurance products, business development, communications and training. Lately my interest turned towards innovation and digital technology.My Master’s degree is actuarial studies, and I am (a proud) MIT certified fintech expert. I am a strong believer and fan of innovation and the utilization of the latest technologies.I believe that the financial sector is in need of innovation and disruption could not have come in a better time. I hope the incumbents are wise enough to foresee that if they do not want to offer their future customers to tech giants, they need to cooperate with their disruptors. We need to develop products, solutions, processes in cooperation with fintech and insurtech start-ups. As someone from the incumbent world, I would like to take my share of making this happen and I focus my innovation activity on utilizing the possibilities in open innovation. Besides working on it from inside, I would like to support it with my podcast: FintechFlow. My goal with FintechFlow is to bridge together the gap in mindset between the legacy players and the start-ups. I would like to create a show where we deep dive into each week's topic and doing so our community can inspire, energize and learn from and with each other.
