Worked on the committee that merged the free-standing Bexley Alumni Association with the Bexley Education Foundation. Helped negotiate by-laws, rules, and goals that have created a much more robust alumni association. Helped plan and organize shared events, such as the first ever Alumni Tennis Tournament.

CISV is an international all-volunteer organization that provides international camp opportunities for kids ages 11 and up. Served as board secretary from June 2012- June of 2014, and have served as Hospitality Chair since June 2014. In addition, I have been very active in all the events that CISV has hosted in Columbus, Ohio, from international camps taking place here to hosting campers from around the world at our home.

TWIG 2 is the oldest of the TWIG groups that raise money for Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. We meet monthly and raise funds through special events. I have held several leadership positions with our board, including board secretary for two years. Additionally, I have always been in active in at least one or two committees, including our annual cocktail party fundraisers and our estate sale fundraisers.

Worked with the team in charge of the Ohio delegation to the Democratic National Committee in Philadelphia from July 24 - 29, 2016. Main responsibility was coordinating chartered bus transportation of delegates and guests to Philadelphia from Ohio, and back again via two buses and eight stops. Additionally, I coordinated the movement of delegates and guests between the Ohio Celebration Committee events and the delegation hotel each evening in Philadelphia. Assisted in many other tasks needed to run a successful and smooth operation for our delegates and guests.

Volunteered in many roles for the PTO at my children's elementary school. Was in charge of several stand alone events over the years, from the Cassingham Carnival to 6th Grade Graduation to teacher appreciation, as well as chaired committees that met monthly such as the Cassingham monthly newsletter. Additionally, I volunteered my time for many school events such as the art fair and book sale, as well as weekly positions in the teacher workroom. Served as room parent twice for both of my kids classrooms over the years and as the PTO board secretary for one year.

Co-chaired the Bexley Education Foundation's annual BRAVO! fundraising gala in February of 2013, hosted at The Limited Brand World Headquarters. We had advance sales of over 800 tickets, sold over 100 tickets at the door, and raised over $120K for Bexley Schools through ticket sales, sponsorships, and a silent auction.

Directed the production of whitehouse.gov. Oversaw six-month long installation of new web-page production and management system. Worked with all Executive Office of the President's agencies and offices to determine website goals and strategies.

Managed the strategic development, production, and maintenance of the Democratic National Committee's then brand-new website and other online tools, such as the DNC's email newsletters and the staff-only intranet webpage. Prior to Interactive Media, I managed and implemented special projects for the national chairman of the DNC.

Directed coordinated campaign's statewide field operations for federal and local democratic campaigns. Wrote field and Get Out The Vote plans for the state. Trained and supervised field staff.

Briefly directed statewide initiative campaign in Florida until it was removed from the ballot by a constitutionality ruling from the Florida Supreme Court. After our ballot removal, I worked with founders of the campaign to help draft the initial plan for The Everglades Trust Foundation, a non-profit that seeks to restore the Everglades through clean water and political initiatives, especially as it relates to farming in the Everglades Agricultural Area. Worked with chair of the National Health Care Campaign to develop and implement message and strategy for the National Health Care Campaign (NHCC). Managed day-to-day activities of the NHCC, including supervision of seventeen core employees. Attended weekly briefing meetings with national stakeholders.

Hired to create a model for a national bipartisan targeting and recruitment project of congressional, statewide, and local women candidates. Researched district profiles and candidate histories; made initial outreach to potential candidates for the 1994 election cycle. Helped to determine candidate viability.

Identified women candidates for office, evaluated candidates and campaigns, made candidate endorsement recommendations, and provided campaign consultation services. During the 1992 cycle, I traveled to targeted congressional races to provide on-site campaign assistance, and worked on the ground in races from Connecticut to California.
