We support education and human flourishing, and are concerned that too many courses, professors, and trainings at universities actively prevent young people from understanding the foundations of freedom of inquiry, self-empowerment, and the beneficial powers of free enterprise.Alumni and Donors Unite leverages the substantial financial power and influence of the customers of higher ed--students, parents, alumni and other donors, as well as public opinion, to force behavioral changes on campus. Engaged with non profit organization to reorganize and establish best practices in their operations and infrastructures. During an eight month interim CEO assignment achieved the turn around of operating practices, financial affairs and reporting, and developed play books for all major operations and major fund raising events. In addition, was able to substantially improve financial results from events held during the turn around assignment.Miracle Babies mission is to unite families with their critically ill newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) by providing direct financial assistance and other supportive services.

Lead and developed Corporate Directors Forum, a 501 (c) 6 non profit organization, from a small nascent organization into the largest regional association of corporate directors and officers in the United States - focusing on public companies and for-profit private companies - where directors and officers could stay ahead of the curve on emerging governance related issues and current events. Established the core mission and strategies for the organization.* Operations: Delivered products, services, events, conferences; oversight of all marketing efforts, branding, CRM; recruited relationships with all outside vendors.Oversaw a more than 300 % growth in membership and a quadrupling of corporate sponsorships, leaving the organization with a full year of operating expenses.*Budgeting/Fund-raising: Developed the annual budget, and created and developed all revenue streams; identified new constituents and sponsors while achieving a high retention rate.Board: Worked closely with the executive committee and board to develop and execute on the strategic plan, adjusting to current events and market conditions.* Programs/Content Production: Content development and speaker recruitment for 8-9 annual breakfast and dinner events (between 125-250 attendees), and produced key/pivotal events:• Co-founded and for 12 years produced, “Directors Forum: Directors, Management & Shareholders in Dialogue”, a unique global conference attracting the top thought leaders, institutional investors, regulators, directors, management and shareholders.• “Director of the Year Awards” is one of the top business events in San Diego each year, now in its 26th year of honoring directors for outstanding performance in the boardroom and behind the scenes.• In 2012, established and launched the signature, "Governance Academy" for in-depth training for current and prospective board members and management;* Relationship Builder: Large, multi-faceted personal network.
