Waters also speaks regularly on the topics of career re-invention, navigating today's job search and entrepreneurship, including her own story about her move from corporate work to starting three successful businesses dedicated to helping others.After years of frustration and experience observing that fear of failure and lack of confidence were getting in the way of her clients success, Linda created Confidence Beads. Each bead, with its own name and empowering message, raises funds for Ovations for the Cure of ovarian cancer and for domestic violence education programs; two causes that are ever present, but not glamorous to talk about. The beads provide women with a "pretty" way to raise funds and awareness for "not-so-pretty" topics that need to be addressed in our society.Beads for a Cause® was developed when non-profits began to request beads specific to their charities beginning with the Ovations for the Cure's Princess bead collection, followed by the Boston Bruins Foundation, the Pan- Mass Challenge, The Autism Research Foundation, and many more.
