Compassionate Recreational Therapist Assistant in gerontology with an extensive background as a team leader that supported people development through goals and objectives, excellent customer service, program development, event planning and promotion. Providing recreation and leisure activities based on established policies, resident care plans and individual goals while demonstrating excellent organizational and communication skills with all levels of the organization is a focus and strength. Delivering quality, client-based programs with compassion and kindness that offers variety and flexibility based on the needs of the individual or group is focus in my role. Working one-on-one with clients within my volunteer outreach experience has shown the importance of building relationships with each person to enhance their personal wellness. My role is to work under the supervision of a recreation therapist to deliver quality, goal-oriented, supportive programs to meet the leisure-related needs of clients.
