I am thrilled to work as a Health Systems Specialist Trainee at VHA in the Graduate Healthcare Administrative Training Program (GHATP). My time in this program has reaffirmed my devotion to public service through the prioritization of health and quality care. I am interested in the role of health policy and operations to drive change and improve care, and I am excited to continue exploring these interests in my career. Having witnessed the challenges in healthcare delivery, I chose a path of service, health care, and transformation. I pursued a master's in public health leadership to address health disparities and implement value-based policies. As a GHATP Fellow, I aspire to advocate for healthcare transformation, emphasizing well-being and quality care for Veterans. My role involves overcoming challenges in operations, improving quality and access, and patient satisfaction.
